Hello, I'm Shannon!
I am often asked, "How long have you been doing photography?" I answer, "Since high school, when we developed our images in a dark room" (yes, I'm getting old). I flirted with the idea of going to college for photojournalism, but instead entered psychology. I held photography close as a hobby, and began doing it professionally to help pay for my graduate degree in educational psychology. Funny how things come full circle. =)

If you don’t have a photographer who quickly brushes off a fall to keep the photos going, then you don’t have a photographer who cares enough. Shannon did amazing with our wedding photos - she was very accommodating and customized her photo package for our location and wedding style. Photos into the night weren’t going to work at our wedding venue and didn’t fit the laid back vibe we wanted, so Shannon helped us with a wedding package that included pictures at our rehearsal dinner but left our wedding as the sun set and the reception swung into gear.
We just got our photos back, and I can’t stop staring at our entire wedding collection. Shannon did an excellent job getting the classic tone that we wanted for our editing. We, our families, and the wider Internet agree that Shannon does an amazing job.

I found Shannon through Instagram when searching for a photographer in California. My husband & I honeymooned in Big Sur, and I wanted to document our time there as newlyweds. Shannon was great with communication. She responded quickly and stayed in touch with all details leading up to our session together. We had the best time working with her! She made us feel so comfortable in front of her camera. We laughed a lot and Shannon is definitely one of those people you feel like you’ve known forever. Now we have the most beautiful beach photos that symbolize such a significant part of our lives, thanks to her. I’d use her every time I had photos taken if I could. We will definitely be in touch with her if we’re ever in California again. Highly highly recommend!
